The Luiss Summer School aims at providing professionals, government officials, international civil servants, financial consultants, scholars and students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the legal and economic implications of the most relevant and up-to-date issues of international trade, both through high-level lectures and professionalizing training.
The Summer School combines high-level lectures and professionalizing training given by world-class professors, WTO and EU officers, public administration managers and experts from the private sector operating in the international markets.
This intensive summer course is organised with the patronage of the European Commission Representation in Italy, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, CONFINDUSTRIA (Confederation of the Italian Manufacturing Industries), Bar Association of Rome (Ordine degli Avvocati di Roma), SACE and Simest.
The school is open to post-graduates in Law, International Relations, Political Science, European Studies, Economics and Statistics who are keen to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the most up-to-date issues of international trade.
Admission is based on professional and academic achievement. A good knowledge of written and spoken English is also required. Early application is encouraged. Qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis. The deadline for applying to the Summer School is May 10, 2017.
Because of the interactive nature of the course, the number of participants is limited to 40. The course will be activated upon admission of at least 20 participants.
